Inabata was a widower and had no children.
One morning, as he walked through his garden,
he saw a woman of exceptional beauty standing under the weeping willow.
He wondered how this woman had got there so unnoticed and who she was......

Come and listen to the Japanese saga "The soul of the weeping willow" told by poetic storyteller Godfried Kippers and discover the Japanese Garden in this unique way. 

Practical

  • You can choose between 2 sessions: A walk from 11h00 to 12h00 or one from 13h00 to 14h00.  
  • After the walk you are of course free to spend the rest of the day in the Garden.
  • There are 20 places available per session, minimum age 9 years.
  • Duration: 1 hour.
  • Registration is possible until 2 days before the walk. 

Cost

  • € 4.00 + entry ticket to be purchased separately at the box office
  • € 0.80 for UiTPAS holders with entitlement to the chance ticket + entrance ticket to be purchased separately at the box office

Tickets:
On each of these days the story walk will take place twice: at 11am and 1pm. When buying your ticket, make sure you buy a ticket for the time you would like to participate.
