By car

  • You can park for free in our parking lot along the Gouverneur Verwilghensingel.
  • Our address cannot be found on the GPS. So it is best to fill in "Gouverneur Verwilghensingel 13". That is the address of Schaatsbaan Schaverdijn and Sport Vlaanderen Hasselt.
  • ATTENTION: DO NOT take the service road after the intersection G. Verwilghensingel / Elfde-Liniestraat, but DO take the service road in the bend, this is the road that runs next to the Gouverneur Verwilghensingel.
  • Then it is about 20 meters further on your right. Drive through the Japanese red gate (torii) and there you will find our parking.
  • Are you already at the big next traffic lights? Then you are too far. But you can turn right here towards the center of Hasselt (Koning Boudewijnlaan) and turn right again at the traffic lights, here you can park in the “Koning Boudewijnlaan parking - Hawaii” car park.

By bike

The Japanese garden is located at junction 97 of the Limburg Cycle Route Network.
