Japanese Garden for Companies

The Japanese Garden, the perfect spot for a peaceful and cultured meeting

The Japanese Garden in Hasselt arose from the friendship relationship that lasted more than 30 years between Hasselt and the Japanese city of Itami. With its 2.5 hectares, it is immediately the largest authentic Japanese Garden in Western Europe.

The Okando (glass pavilion) has been open since September 2015 and can be used for meetings, workshops or group receptions.

The Japanese Garden and Okando (glass pavilion) are mainly used for Japan-related events or for activities within the working of the Japanese garden. Private parties and other activities that are not Japan related or do not fall within this operation are not allowed.

In addition, it is of course still possible to reserve creative activities or cultural activities for your event.
